The Clinic

As one of the poorest communities of Costa Rica, the access to medical care is complicated and, in some cases, non-existing to many families.

Our clinic exists to satisfy the need of low cost medical care access, directed to those who do not have access to costa rican public health system, taking care of hundreds of patients per week.

Surrounded by Virilla and Torres rivers.
Estimated of 7000 homes in the area.

How we do it?

Medical Care

The Clinic provides medical care to more than 100 patients a week who do not have access to the public health system. The clinic work is complimented with free medical care caravans. The meds provided to each patient are free.

Psychological Care

Since 2022, we started our psychology office, also low cost, for the community. The access to psychological care is non-existent for the community.

Dental Care

We have a low-cost dental care program. We provide care for cavities, extractions and consultation. Also, meds given to patients are free.

Breastfeeding Program

Since 2022, we started the breastfeeding class, teaching the best practices on how to feed babies, with personalized care, and house visiting the first months of the baby's life.
